U.S. Insurance Group filed a Petition in Bankruptcy Court on April 22, 2009.

All USIG assets, obligations, and operations were then subject to a Bankruptcy Court jurisdiction.

The Bankruptcy Court approved the sale of USIG customer lists, records and files to TrueNorth. TrueNorth did not take over USIG. TrueNorth created a new company to serve your insurance needs going forward.
